Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing HR operations, personnel administration, payroll governance, HR systems and workforce data management.The role will play a key part in building effective HR processes and ensuring an efficient service model that supports both employees and business leaders.

To support its continued expansion, the company is looking for an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead and enhance its HR operational infrastructure, ensuring efficient, compliant and scalable people processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the HR Operations function, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all employee lifecycle processes.
  • Oversee personnel administration, contract management, payroll governance and employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, social security and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate relationships with external providers, payroll vendors and relevant authorities.
  • Drive the continuous improvement and optimization of HR processes and operating models.
  • Manage HR systems and ensure the integrity, quality and security of employee data.
  • Develop and monitor HR reporting and analytics, providing meaningful workforce insights.
  • Partner with Finance on headcount planning, personnel budgeting and cost monitoring activities.
  • Support organizational growth by implementing scalable and efficient HR operations.
  • Contribute to HR transformation projects, digitalization initiatives and process improvements.



Competenze ed esperienza

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of HR experience with a strong focus on HR Operations.
  • Proven experience managing personnel administration, payroll processes and HR compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing HR budgets, workforce reporting and people analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • Solid understanding of Italian labour law.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and process improvement skills.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within international and complex organizations.
  • Experience managing HR transformation and digitalization projects.
  • Knowledge of multiple collective bargaining agreements (CCNL) is considered an advantage.
  • Exposure to employee relations and labour law matters is appreciated, although the primary focus of the role is HR Operations excellence.

This is a permanent contract offered under CCNL Chimico Farmaceutico, Level Quadro.

Location: Hybrid role based in Milan.
