Offerta

The Site Supply Chain Management (SCM) Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain at Site. The primary focus is on overseeing the end-to-end supply chain processes, optimizing inventory levels, and fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet production and delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost savings.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners and customers to ensure a robust and diversified supply chain network.
  • Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations.



Operational

  • Monitor and control inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Implement robust inventory tracking systems and regular cycle counts.
  • Support SCM Head in implementing effective inventory control measures.
  • Aid in monitoring and controlling inventory levels as per SCM Head's directives.
  • Support SCM Head in maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers; assist in contract negotiation with suppliers for securing favourable terms.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products.
  • Optimize transportation and distribution processes to minimize lead times.
  • Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to guarantee timely delivery of products, optimizing routes and minimizing transportation costs.
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and distribution, to meet production and customer demands.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement and maintain quality management systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain and implement practices.
  • Assist the SCM Lead in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the site to measure supply chain performance, contributing to the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Analyse key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement initiatives.



Major Details

  • Planning & S&OP:
    • Lead and optimize the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring data-driven integration of demand, supply, and financial projections.
    • Leading data driven demand and supply planning with cross functional alignment with Project management team, Sales/BD, Production team, QC team
    • Utilize advanced analytics to forecast demand, monitor forecast accuracy, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strategic Procurement:
    • Conduct spend analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Use procurement analytics to benchmark supplier performance, negotiate more favorable terms, and support strategic sourcing decisions.
    • Leading initiatives to identify and develop alternate vendors for key raw materials and APIs.
    • Coordinating with Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Procurement to qualify and onboard new suppliers.
    • Spend Analytics (Cost Savings): Tracks cost reductions and value delivered through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
    • Procurement Cycle Time: Measures the time taken from purchase requisition to order fulfillment, indicating process efficiency.
    • Supplier On-Time Delivery: Percentage of deliveries received on or before the agreed date, reflecting supplier reliability
  • Working Capital Management:
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize working capital, focusing on inventory turnover, payables, and receivables.
    • Analyze inventory levels, DOH, and AVD to minimize excess stock and reduce capital tied up in inventory.
    • Develop and execute initiatives to improve cash flow and reduce working capital requirements through better planning and supplier negotiations.
  • Process & Compliance:
    • Ensure all analytics and reporting align with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
    • Support audits with detailed analytics on procurement, inventory, and working capital metrics.

Requirements:

Degree

Experience in Supply chain Management in chemical pharmaceutical company

Good level of english
