Opportunità

Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage all site quality activities to achieve product quality, customer satisfaction, compliance, and business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of quality, accountability, risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement throughout the site.
  • Develop and deploy site quality strategies, priorities, resources, and performance targets aligned with business goals.
  • Coach and develop Quality Engineers, supervisors, inspectors, and supporting quality personnel; strengthen accountability, capability, and succession planning.
  • Establish, monitor, and communicate key quality performance indicators, including customer complaints, escape rates, supplier performance, and audit results.
  • Ensure effective incoming, in-process, and final quality controls; strengthen inspection gates and prevent quality escapes.
  • Ensure quality requirements are integrated into new product introduction, product transfers, validation activities, process changes, and risk management processes.
  • Identify and resolve non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable solutions to quality challenges.
  • Act as the site quality representative for critical customer matters, serve as the primary escalation point for customer quality issues, and lead complaint resolution through effective containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and 8D closure.
  • Partner with Supplier Quality and Procurement teams to improve supplier performance, mitigate risks, and achieve supply chain quality objectives.
  • Evaluate quality risks, make timely disposition and escalation decisions, and support business continuity while protecting customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, customer-specific requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring findings are effectively addressed, closed, and sustained.
  • Support the development and maintenance of quality-related certifications required by the business.
  • Collaborate with site leadership, share knowledge, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Competenze ed esperienza

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, design quality, or quality management.
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading customer quality issue resolution, cross-functional corrective actions, and internal, customer, or certification audits.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, Quality Management Systems (ISO9001 and AS9100 preferred), problem-solving methods, and quality data analysis.
  • Effective leadership, project management, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in data collection, reporting, and document management to maintain accurate, complete, and compliant project records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other digital tools.
