The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for driving the safety culture and performance within Warehousing & Logistics in Italy. They will lead change management and supply chain transformation, ensuring continuous improvement in material and information flow, capacity optimization, and compliance with corporate policies

Performance Monitoring

  • Drive proactive safety behaviors and monitor safety results.
  • Coordinate the construction of budgets and forecasts for Italy from a supply chain perspective, contributing to both Italy and South West Europe performance.
  • Track and report performance metrics (e.g., customer/supplier OTIF, inventory turns, logistics costs, inventory accuracy) against set targets.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement continuous improvement plans to address performance gaps.



Activity Management

  • Oversee material planning processes to ensure efficient logistics and define inventory strategies in collaboration with commercial teams, product managers, supplying plants, and vendors.
  • Ensure effective communication of customer requirements and optimal use of warehousing and transportation resources.
  • Lead the planning process, ensuring accuracy and timely inputs, prioritizing and resolving imbalances, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate optimization activities and audits for warehouse, transportation, customs, and material flows to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Collaborate with third parties on logistics initiatives to streamline flows and reduce costs.
  • Oversee supply chain activities related to the launch or phase-out of products in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Develop and track continuous improvement (CI) projects aligned with the business plan and divisional supply chain strategy.



People Management

  • Lead, recruit, motivate, and develop the supply chain team.
  • Set challenging yet achievable goals and ensure clear communication of the strategy and roadmap to excellence.
  • Foster collaboration within the team and across other subgroups, sharing practices to leverage skills and drive performance improvements.

Competenze ed esperienza

  • University Graduate in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational matrix organization.
  • Strong communication and people management skills.
  • Dynamic and proactive, with the ability to balance both strategic and operational responsibilities.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP, and advanced Excel skills
