Offerta

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the General Manager to define and steer the technical evolution of the product portfolio in line with business priorities.
  • Defining and managing the technical product roadmap, balancing market requirements, engineering constraints, and industrial feasibility.
  • Leading technology and architecture choices for packaging and labelling machinery, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Developing and upgrading products based on customer requirements, installed base feedback, and structured competitive analysis.
  • Monitoring competitor solutions and market standards to support differentiation through engineering.
  • Monitoring product cost structures (BOM, production, lifecycle costs) and gross margins across the portfolio to support data-driven decisions in R&D prioritization.
  • Analyzing product profitability and economic performance by segment and application, actively feeding insights into product design choices, industrialization strategies, and production optimization.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence tools and methodologies to enhance product functionality, optimize development and industrial processes, and enable superior future product features compared to competitors.

Competenze ed esperienza

  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally (trade shows, customer visits, production sites), approx. 30-40%.
  • 10+ years of experience in similar leadership roles, ideally within the industrial machinery or packaging sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills and strategic vision, with proven managerial capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of aftermarket business models, including spare parts, service sales, and lifecycle value creation.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced environments, with international exposure.
  • Experience in entrepreneurial, rapidly scaling, or transformation‑driven contexts is a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a customer‑centric and results‑driven mindset.
