The company was founded in 2011 in Veneto (where the HQ is still located) to offer to B2B clients high standard professional products on the market, guaranteeing delivery within 24/48 hours throughout Italy. Then in 2019 the fan-base grows exponentially thanks to the new website and mobile app, and the company expands to sales on foreign markets: France, Germany, Spain, UK.

In this growth scenario, the company has decided to invest in Marketing Division with a new role of Social Media Manager - Beauty Sector who will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy by country across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage with audiences, and drive business objectives on a global scale.

Job Description

The Social Media Manager - Beauty Sector will have the following key responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy

  • Develop a comprehensive global social media strategy by country aligned with the company's brand identity and business goals.
  • Updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure a competitive edge.

2. Content Creation

  • Collaborate with content team and agencies to create engaging, relevant, and shareable content for social media platforms (copy, image, video, and interactive formats) maintaining a consistent brand and visual identity across all social channels and countries.
  • Manage content calendars and scheduling to ensure a steady flow of high-quality posts.

3. Community Engagement

  • Foster meaningful connections with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
  • Monitor discussions and trends related to the brand, industry, and competitors, and engage in relevant conversations.

4. Campaign Development

  • Plan and execute global social media campaigns that align with product launches, events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop creative and innovative campaign ideas to generate buzz and engagement.

5. Analytics and Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and sentiment. Providing regular reports to leadership.
  • Utilize insights to adjust strategies, optimize content, and improve overall social media effectiveness.

6. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with product, PR, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment and integration of social media efforts with broader strategies.

7. Influencer Partnerships

  • Collaborate with influencer marketing team to Identify and cultivate relationships with relevant influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility.

Competenze ed esperienza

The Social Media Manager - Beauty Sector has the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business or Communication.
  • Relevant experience in Beauty. B2B is a plus
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in social media management on a global scale.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their nuances, and practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging content.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with international cultures and languages is advantageous.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in Italian and English is mandatory, French is a plus.
