Our client is a PMI operating in consumer goods that distributes its products at a European level.

Offerta

The person, reporting directly to the General Manager, will have the following main tasks:

  • Develop and implement the supply chain and procurement strategy, following the group guidelines and objectives
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, distribution and customer service
  • Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance and optimise efficiency and to reduce costs
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply to meet customer requirements
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure supply chain performance, analyse trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, market expansions, or any other strategic initiatives

Competenze ed esperienza

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred;
  • Solid experience in supply chain management and procurement, with a Europe scope, gained in a leadership role is required;
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution;
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights;
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams;
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives and implementing innovative practices to optimise supply chain operations;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation;
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial implications related to supply chain decisions;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian and English languages is required.
