Senior Project Buyer - EPC - Biogas upgrading

Reporting to the sourcing leader, the senior project buyer will have the following responsibilities:

• Be the Sourcing focal point in the multidisciplinary project team.
• Collaborate to define project material requirements with the team and scout/benchmark with local vendors.
• Assign the project requirements to pre-selected suppliers based on the strategy per each commodity.
• Validate material costs for the project and capture them accurately in the project budget, starting from the sales phase.
• Ensure ordering project specific materials in compliance with the validity of the offers and with the supplier lead-time for production.
• Negotiate project specific materials to maximize supplier's performance (quality-delivery-cost).
• Collaborate with operational team to ensure and support the POC sales walk and approve purchase orders.
• Keep track of supplier deliveries to ensure project specific materials come according to plan and proactively communicate/manage discrepancies to the delivery plan.
• Keep track of material cost variances and escalate them to the project leader through the appropriate process (change request, etc.).
• Take care of the relevant reporting on Sourcing and specific project's KPIs.
• Work accordingly to quality requirement as per Company Quality Management System.
