Ruolo

The profile will have the following responsibilities:

  • Create and execute budgets and account plans for the assigned accounts, ensuring long term profitable growth
  • Prepare and achieve negotiation strategies for recurring business with the assigned accounts
  • Prepare and secure the execution of commercial contracts
  • Maintain and extend multi-level customer relationships, include the Business Unit's Sales Director, the Business Unit's GM or other disciplines where appropriate
  • Seek or inspire new development opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Coordinate and secure (through collaboration with R&D and other disciplines) development of an appropriate solution. Convey (technical) information to facilitate the development process where appropriate. Prepare, make and follow up (value based) commercial proposals for these customer driven opportunities
  • Secure appropriate and timely response to customer issues
  • Develop Identified & Qualified prospects (generated by NBD Marketeers) into actively buying customers
  • Commercialize Innovations at existing and prospected customers, after Identification and Qualification by NBD marketeers
  • Execute of the Sales Execution plan in which Identified and Qualified prospects are entered by NBD Marketeers
  • Plan and execute customer visits

Il candidato prescelto

  • Ideally with a technical or development background, either for an ingredients manufacturer or a processor
  • Minimum 5 years account management and/or sales experience
  • Able to demonstrate experience of growing business with new and existing customers and taking a strategic approach towards profitably growing accounts
  • Experience of a business to business or comparable complex selling environment
  • Experience of managing customer relationships with multilevel & function contacts, demonstrating the ability to foster a matrix approach to customer management
