Senior Buyer - Indirect Spend - Food sector

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Indirect Spend Western Europe, within the local Company strategy and working according to the Company sourcing policy for indirect spend, the buyer indirect spend:

• manages all indirect spend for Italy plants (Opex and Capex) and locations, looking for both short term opportunities through spot buy reduction and long term opportunities through strategic sourcing activity;
• represents the Company sourcing department in the indirect spend area for Italy locations for both technical and non-technical spend, advocating procurement and sourcing, demonstrating added value for the Company;
• spreads and implements purchasing processes as a constant reference for stakeholders and internal customers;
• builds and maintains Supplier relationships with the objective of reducing costs, eliminating inefficiencies throughout the Procurement Cycle and being a representative of our Company's core values;
• analyzes the market finding for opportunities to improve the suppliers base with the best possible alternatives according to the sourcing policy;
• develops strategies and tactics - together with the business - to give to the company a competitive advantage in either technology or cost.
