Our esteemed Client is is a specialty chemicals and advanced materials company with more than 20.000 employees.


The main activities are summarized as follows.


  • Visit regulary main customers. Maintain references and develop new customers in the area. Build strong relationships with them promoting The Company & its product range. Expected to be 50-70% of his time on the field with 20 visits/month as a goal, in line with annual visit program. Provide systematic short & synthetic call reports in Salesforce together with weekly highlights & monthly report.
  • Maximize Company's interest in negotiations with customers. Implement all possible price increases, invoice services and surcharges, following management guidelines, being aware/managing risk of losing business, on a case by case approach.
  • Update Opportunities and Quotation in Salesforce
  • Responsible of the reliability of the systematic 3 months rolling forecast.
  • Accountable for achieving sales objectives in line with budget. Grow cumulative margin, year after year.
  • Supervise the sales process from the order till delivery of the products and the payment at due date.
  • Establish market analysis and perform regular benchmarking on competition. Update Market Insight in Salesforce.
  • Salesforce CRM utilization is mandatory in this position

KPIs: volume, price, revenue, margin on variable cost per UG on his portfolio, together with number of visits/reports achieved vs. annual planning, % overdues/receivable & forecast performanceTeam work with customer service

  • Ensure customer service representative systematically continuously updated with price agreements, volumes commitments and any relevant customer data. Means: contacts, calls, CRM, PICASO.
  • Organize team work with sales assistant to set up the systematic 3 months rolling forecast and implantation in PICASO and the permanent chasing on overdues.
  • Take her on the field for annual visit to the top 5 customers.

HSE & logistics:

  • Implement Company's policy in terms of HSE on our deliveries our products to all customers in the area, making sure all customers are fully aware of any restrictions, rules and material safety data sheets of our products.
  • Push for full truck or full container shipments to optimize costs. Invoice service fees.

Il candidato prescelto


  • Technical background in chemical engineering or chemistry. Minimum BSC level together with Business education
  • Senior experience in sales of commoditiy/specialty chemicals
  • Perfect command of written and spoken Italian, English, Spanish
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation and sales - closing skills
  • Good level of computer skills ( Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PowerBI)
