La figura ricercata
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible to achieve growth in the Italian market. He/she is responsible to securing maximum sales of company's products to new customers as well as existing customers in the food and beverage glass packaging industry. You use your knowledge of the industry along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.
- You will search new clients who might benefit from company products and you will maximize client potential in Italy (mainly Food&Beverage);
- You develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
- You persuade clients that the company's products best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
- You negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
- You calculate client quotations and administer client accounts;
- You analyze costs and sales;
- You prepare reports for global head office and keep customer records;
- You meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects;
- You support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
- You make presentations and demonstrate how company's product better meets client needs.
- The position will be home office based in the north of Italy + frequent travel.
Il candidato prescelto
- Minimum 7 years experience in any packaging industry, preferably glass packaging
- Be able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales
- Able to manage large responsibilities and leading customers in the Food Beverage industry
- Proven record of value selling
- Strong customer and solution focus
- Proven record of setting, pursuing and attaining stretching goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances
- Resilient and able to quick recover from adversity
- Proven record of successfully working with a wide range of people at various level within the organization
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Strategic and commercial mind
- High degree of empathy and involvement
- Result oriented with excellent communicative and negotiation skills
- Proactive and self-initiating
- Strong Analytical skills
- Team player with perseverance
- Good personal maturity, autonomous, personal organization, determined, tenacious
- High level of energy, hard worker
