Our client is a leading international specialty pharmaceutical company with an established presence in Europe and in the rest of the world. Our client markets its own products as well as in-licensed products in around 65 countries through its affiliates within Europe and a network of gastroenterology-focused partners throughout the world. For the growth of the Italian branch we are looking for a KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER who will take care of Northern Italy.


Main responsibilities:

  • Administrative To take ownership of the sales development of all commercial activity within the specified territory
  • To promote and protect the company's products to all healthcare organizations within the specified territory
  • To remove barriers to access for company's products, this includes:
  • - Identifying and developing robust ethical relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, and Healthcare professionals within targeted hospitals and surrounding locations
  • - Ensuring company's products are appropriately listed on local and regional formularies (in accordance with indications and guidelines)
  • Prioritization of accounts when planning activity, such as:
  • - Agreeing business plans and objectives
  • - Account Targeting
  • - Coverage and frequency of Healthcare professionals
  • - Co-ordination of local promotional budget expenditure / investment
  • To manage the commercial relationship between company and our purchasing customers in secondary care, including:
  • - Procurement specialists,
  • - Procurement pharmacists
  • - Business managers
  • - Maintain supply chain arrangements in primary and secondary care
  • To sell and promote company's products in accordance with the code of practice for italy
  • To create and work to an ambitious territory strategy that supports the business strategy and goals
  • To implement company sales and marketing strategy / operational plans
  • Adhere to company's standard operating procedures and policies
  • When required, attend national and international congresses with Healthcare professionals
  • Following and adhere to all company policies

Il candidato prescelto

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Scientific Degree
  • At least 5 years of experiences in life science or biopharma industry
  • experience in rx-products
  • Team working attitude
  • Proactive, self - starter, autonomous
  • Strong communications skills
  • Good English is a nice to have but not a mandatory requirement
  • Available to travel
  • Driving licence b
