This position will play a key role in leading the Services procurement activity at the Group level, with responsibility for indirect spending in Facilities and other contracts for general services. The main purposes of the role are to maximize the value derived from the relationships with main suppliers, to implement the Company's Procurement Model, and to develop and maintain procurement strategies across all service categories of spend leveraging on a global scale and aligning to local and global business objectives.

She/he will be involved in:

● Leading the development and implementation of global and local category strategies in Facilities and other services by addressing the relevant categories' total spend and considering all potential levers to reduce cost and drive improved performance;

● Continuously reviewing the relevant supply market to understand best industry practices and ensure that the Company is best positioned to maximize its business opportunities and minimize its business risk;

● Leading global negotiations and supporting/supervising other negotiations managed by the local teams by providing category knowledge and where required setting negotiation targets and co-ordinating/representing the Group input into local negotiations;

● Identifying the commercial benefit (e.g. cost reductions & process improvements) opportunities arising from those supplier relationships. Projecting those opportunities and leading the resulting commercial supplier interaction at the group level;

● Working within a framework of targets including savings effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of the business' needs;

● Working with the Company's Finance and Legal teams to ensure appropriate and effective contracts;

● Ensuring compliance with the Company's Procurement Procedure and Procurement Policy.

Il candidato prescelto


● At least 5 years experience in multinational environments developing category strategies in Facilities and Consultancy related services, running substantive sourcing events, and managing the commercial elements arising from contract implementation, amendments, extensions, and face with a nominated range of suppliers;

● Experience in using management information systems from ERP and Purchasing systems;

● Strong negotiating skills and deep knowledge of the key contractual elements affecting commercial relationships with third parties;

● Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with and influence suppliers and internal stakeholders at the highest level;

● Experience in project management and ability to implement and lead cross-functional and/or virtual teams;

● Educated to degree/post-graduate level;

● Fluent in English. Additionally, Spanish or French will be valued.

Cosa comprende l'offerta

PERM contract.

Gross salary based on experience.

Location: Trezzano sul Naviglio (MI).
