Our Client is a rapidly growing startup providing an innovative B2B SaaS solution to help financial companies keep up with regulatory changes and updates. The Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to help the company manage its financial operations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to make informed decisions. Together with the CEO, the Finance Manager will have a key role in the business planning and forecasting operations, having also the possibility to present the final work to the Board of Directors. Moreover, the profile will be directly involved within investors relations, crucially responsible for supporting the CEO in fundraising operations with top tier 1 VC funds across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

a) Financial Strategy and Planning:

● Develop and execute the company's financial strategy to achieve sustainable growth.

● Drive the company's financial planning and forecasting operations.

● Assess financing alternatives, considering risk, return, and market conditions.

● Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and new financial models to support business planning.

● Prepare analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing needs.b) Risk Management and Investment:

● Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments.

● Assist the decisions on investment strategies, considering cash and liquidity risks.c) Financial Reporting and Compliance:

● Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements to provide insights to the BoD.

● Monitor the cash flow of the company to meet operational needs.

● Prepare and monitor credit facilities and debt management.

● Interact with Company's stakeholders (e.g., Founders, BoD, Accountant) in order to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, monthly/quarterly/six-monthly reporting, tax reporting, and preparation of budgets.

● Assist the Company in the incremental setup of financial management software.d) Leadership and Team Management skills:

● Manage vendor relationships and oversee the company's finance IT system.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

● Propension of leading and supervising a team of financial controllers and analysts.

Competenze ed esperienza

Requirements:

● Proven experience, at least of 4 years, as a Finance Manager, or similar relevant role, preferably in fast-paced environments, emerging hi-tech companies or VC-backed, etc.

● Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

● Excellent knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting methods, and budgeting.

● Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

● Experience with financial management software systems.

● Analytical mindset, strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.

● CPA or CFA certifications will be considered a strong plus.
