The Company is a Spanish Health & Sport service company, leader in the industry, with 20 sport centres in Spain and Portugal, around 1.000 employees and shortly wil have presence in new countries such as Italia and Uk.


The Construction Project Manager reports into the Expansion Director in HQs in Madrid (Spain) and is responsible for day-to-day construction activities of assigned new sport centres in Italy.

The main aim of the role is to manage all assigned new sport centre projects from construction to hand over to the operations making sure we follow global standards on process, procurement, reporting and design so that we deliver the right product in time whilst optimising the cost throughout the construction life cycle.

This position will be based in Italy but will be travelling to HQs in Spain to visit other sport centres and other countries if required.

  • Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
  • Predict resources needed to complete project
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
  • Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Manage costs in order to meet budget Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
  • Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
  • Manage construction schedule and activities
  • Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
  • Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
  • Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships Negotiating with contractors and suppliers
  • Selecting and leading a project team
  • Directing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Communicating with staff at every level, in a calm, personable way
  • Overseeing several projects at the same time and managing several projects simultaneously
  • Ensuring that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Reporting regularly on progress
  • Resolving any issues or delays
  • Demonstrating knowledge of all areas of construction
  • Writing bids for tender

Il candidato prescelto

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management within construction
  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
  • High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Language: Italian mother language, Spanish fluent, English is a plus
  • Flexible and able to use your initiative
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Self-motivate, goal oriented and an excellent team-player
