Our client is a French multinational Company operating in more than 40 countries leading in the animal health sector. The Italian branch operates through a production and distribution organisation.
La figura ricercata
Reporting to the Country Manager, key responsibilities will include:
Accountancy & local compliance: ensuring the reliability, timeliness, accuracy, compliance with local regulations of the accounts and ensuring the monthly consolidation and reporting packages required by the Group. The incumbent will be also in charge of the payroll and social returns and will be responsible for legal affairs for the company.
Internal controls: he/she will be responsible for ensuring a proper level of internal control within the affiliate, especially on the operating expenses, commercial policy follow-up, purchase-to-pay process and inventory controls.
Management and cost controlling: responsible for drawing up the budget, the forecast, the monthly management control reporting in all domains covering profitability and cash management. For cash optimisation purposes he/she will monitor Capex and perform credit management activities. He/she also will play a key role in optimizing the performance of the subsidiary by making proposals to the Country Manager and to the other managers.
Control of industrial costs and performance: he/she will be responsible for defining local standard costs in compliance with internal cost model and procedures ensuring consistent tracking through local ERP and full monitoring of costs evolution.
Treasury management: responsible for monthly and yearly cash planning and forecast, as well as monitoring of relationship and negotiations with local banks in relation of head of Corporate Finance according to Group Policy and in a context of LMBO financing structure.
Tax: the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance of the Company with local law, tax planning and tax specific studies according to Group Policy defined in the Group transfer price documentation.
IT management including maintenance and development of local ERP as well as systems compliance with segregation of duties
Data management in tight cooperation with Corporate functions he/she will ensure data integrity, security and consistency.

More than 10 years within a similar role;
Ability to implement new strategies quickly, efficiently and effectively - identifying pragmatic solutions and quick wins that can be developed and sustained;
An enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated personality and the ability to quickly contribute to the culture and way of working;
A background of commercial and financial analysis to aid strategic decision making;
Strong accounting and tax knowledge;
Practice of industrial costs management;
Internal control sensitivity;
HR& payroll knowledge
French would be advantageous
