An excellent opportunity has opened to join the stunning head office as Medical Advisor in the field of Oncology.
This role takes responsibility for providing the link between the client and the pharmaceutical community, as well as providing specialist advice to colleagues to help drive the commercial success of the product range.
Key aspects of the role:
- Provide medical input to commercial activities for the therapeutic area franchise including the planning, preparation and approval of strategic business plans, internal and external scientific product presentations, publication plan development and implementation, external meetings, advisory boards and symposia, promotional and scientific materials;
- To ensure that the commercial objectives for the therapeutic area franchise are realised, product licences are maintained and the perception of the company in the market is upheld in accordance with legal, regulatory and ethical EU directives;
- Ensure that competitor complaints are answered accurately and promptly to uphold the perception of the company in the market place;
- Support the Director in the development, conduct and reporting of Phase IIIb and IV clinical trials so that the trial therapeutic area study programme can be accomplished expeditiously and effectively.
Profilo ricercato
Requirements:
- Medical education preferably include a post graduate medical qualification in Oncology and experience in Medical Affairs (eg MRCP, FRCA, MRCGP or equivalent);
- Ideally registered for higher medical training (HMT) in Pharmaceutical Medicine, leading to a certificate of completion of specialist training (CCT);
- International background is compulsory;
- Team worker who can work well in a collaborative environment;
- Flexible and can-do attitude, adaptable and innovative;
- Eager and willing to identify new opportunity for clinical supporting activities;
- Expected to adopt a sense of urgency, customer focus, and excellence in execution;
- Proactive self starter, ambitious with a real interest in driving for continuous improvement and motivated by success;
- Keen interest in self development and further career progression;
- The ability to communicate in a confident and credible manner at all levels in the organisation;
- Reliable, ethical and discreet with ability to build trust.
